Background

Caroline graduated college in 2013 with a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. During her studies in college, she couldn’t bear not having a dog in her home since she was so used to having one in her house- so she started fostering dogs in her free time. It’s not surprising Caroline’s favorite niche within the pet industry is “special needs” dogs . She has always had a dream of owning a unique pup such as a tripod, or train a deaf dog intricate tricks. Following graduating college, she worked in the medical field, for about 10 years loving health care. She never truly stopped caring for pets as it began around 2011- privately dog sitting for family and friends, shadowing a local dog trainer, working at a kennel, and finally fostering dogs. However something was still missing, so she decided to move back to her home town of Sarasota to pursue her childhood dream - a career with dogs In hopes to make a difference in the way pets were cared and treated.

The Ohh My Dog Creation

Caroline had a realization that the social norm for “taking care of your pets while on vacation” was to either put them in a boarding facility or go online to match with a random pet sitter near you. However, pet owner horror stories revealed this wasn’t the safest situation for both their pets or their home. She had to make it known that there’s premium pet care available. In 2022, she moved back to her hometown of Sarasota to fulfill this dream of hers. Despite graduating college outside of business management , she worked relentlessly towards her goal. Finally, in August of 2023 Caroline was an official business owner of an LLC named OHH MY DOG!
