In-Home Pet Sitting starts at $120/night, Private Dog Boarding at $110/night, Dog Walking and Drop-In Visits at $30 each. An additional pet fee of $25 applies for overnight services. Holiday surcharge of $20/day applies around major holidays.

Do you come to my house or does my dog go to yours?

Both! For In-Home Pet Sitting, we come to your home and stay with your pet. For Dog Boarding, your dog stays at Caroline's private Sarasota home — cage-free and loving.

Do you send photo updates during pet sitting or dog boarding?

Absolutely. We use the Time To Pet app to send real-time photos, videos, GPS walk tracking, and detailed report cards after every visit. You'll always know exactly how your pet is doing.

Will my dog be alone with other dogs during boarding?

We offer 1:1 private boarding or the option to join one other pet family — never a large group. Your dog always receives personalized, attentive care.

Can you administer insulin or medication to my pet?

Yes. Our team is trained to administer medications including insulin injections. We have extensive experience caring for pets with medical conditions and will follow your veterinarian's instructions precisely.

Booking & Getting Started

Welcome — we're so glad you're here! Every new pet family begins with a Service Consultation (a $20 meet & greet) so we can get to know you and your pup before any booking. Request it through our Time To Pet client portal: you'll create an account, tell us about your dog, and pick a time. We'll review and reach out within 24 hours. Already a client? Just log in and request your service.

The $20 non-refundable Service Consultation is a 30-minute in-home assessment. We evaluate your pet's temperament, learn their routine, answer your questions, and create a custom care plan before your first booking.

Everything — bookings, photos, and messages — lives in our Time To Pet portal: timetopet.com/portal/caroline-lacamera. Forgot your password? Click "Forgot Password" in the portal and a reset email will arrive in a minute or two (check your spam/promotions folder if you don't see it).

Both! We offer in-home pet sitting (we come to you) and cage-free boarding in Caroline's own Sarasota home — whichever is most comfortable for your pup.

Never a crowded kennel. Boarding is either 1:1 private, or your dog may join just one other calm pet family — small, homey, and low-stress by design.

For overnight in-home sitting, we're there through the night. For daytime visits, we stay the agreed duration. Your pet is never left unattended for long stretches.

Care & Communication

Absolutely — it's one of our favorite parts! Through the Time To Pet app you'll get real-time photos and videos, GPS-tracked walk maps, and a report card after every visit. You'll never wonder how your pup is doing.

Yes. Our team is trained to administer medications, including insulin injections, and we have experience caring for pets with medical conditions. Walk us through it at your consultation and we've got it covered.

Yes — for the safety of every pet in our care, we ask that vaccinations (including rabies, which is required by Florida law) are up to date. You can upload records right in the Time To Pet portal.

It's not required, but a fresh, clean pup is always appreciated, especially for boarding stays. If your dog has any skin needs or a bathing routine, just let us know and we'll keep it in mind.

Policies

For in-home pet sitting and private boarding, please give at least 7 days' notice to cancel (cancellations inside 7 days are charged 50% of the total). Rescheduling needs 48 hours' notice (a 25% fee applies inside that window). We always aim to be fair — just talk to us.

We do! A gift card for pet care is a wonderful gift for the dog lovers in your life. Just ask and we'll set you up.

We serve Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch — our standard radius is about 10–12 miles from Sarasota, FL 34240. Just outside that? Out-of-radius service may be available for a small travel fee — reach out and we'll see what we can do.
