Welcome — we're so glad you're here! Every new pet family begins with a Service Consultation ($20) so we can get to know you and your pup before any booking. Request it through our Time To Pet client portal: https://www.timetopet.com/portal/caroline-lacamera/create-account — you'll create an account, tell us about your dog, and pick a time. We'll review and reach out within 24 hours. Already a client? Just log in and request your service.

The $20 non-refundable Service Consultation is a 30-minute in-home assessment. We evaluate your pet's temperament, learn their routine, answer your questions, and create a custom care plan before your first booking.

Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page and a reset email will arrive in a minute or two (check your spam/promotions folder if you don't see it). Pet Sitting in your home is $120/24 hours (+$25 per additional pet) · Dog Boarding at your pet sitter's home is $110/24 hours (+$25 per additional pet) · Dog Walking & Drop-Ins are $30 each and +$5 per additional pet. A $20/day holiday surcharge applies on major holidays. Every visit includes an overview of your pet's current health, a GPS-tracked walk of the day, any potty habits performed, if meals/treats/medicine/or water was given, their overall behavior, if we brought any minor packages into your home, the current status of your home (lights on/off, doors locked, TV on, etc.), as well as photos and video updates on the doggy report card.

Both! Whichever option is most comfortable and less stressful for your pup, we would suggest. We offer both in-home pet sitting (where we come to you) as well as cage-free dog boarding in your pet sitter's home. Boarding may be one or two pet families depending on the situation. Currently Caroline is the only pet sitter that offers this service in her home, so spaces are limited.

We will never house a crowded kennel — it's our home too! Boarding is either 1:1 private, or your dog may join just one other calm pet family. Small, home-like atmosphere and low-stress by design for your pet's ultimate staycation with us.

For overnight in-home sitting, we're there through the night. For daytime visits, we stay the agreed duration. Your pet is never left unattended for long stretches. At maximum they may be left for 4 hours during the day, but this would be rare as we try to stay with your pet as long as possible.

Absolutely — it's one of our favorite parts! Through the Time To Pet app you'll get real-time photos and videos, GPS-tracked walk maps, and a report card after every visit. You'll never wonder how your pup is doing.

Yes. Our team is trained to administer medications, including insulin injections, and we have experience caring for pets with multiple medical conditions and co-occurring disorders. Walk us through it at your consultation and we've got it covered.

Yes — for the safety of every pet in our care, we ask that your pet's vaccination records (we only REQUIRE RABIES, which is required by Florida law) are up to date. You can upload a screenshot or PDF file of records right in your client portal.

We do ask for all pet parents to bathe your pet prior to dropping their pup off at our place. A clean pup is always appreciated, especially for boarding stays in our own home. We enjoy a clean and stress-free living area. If your dog has any skin needs or a bathing routine, just let us know and we'll keep it in mind.

For in-home pet sitting and private boarding, please give at least 7 days' notice to cancel a booked appointment (or you agree you will be charged 50% of that invoice total). Rescheduling any service needs 48 hours' notice (but a 25% fee is possible if notified with less than 48 hours). We always aim to be fair — just talk to us.

We do! A gift card for pet care is a wonderful gift for the dog lovers in your life. Just ask and we'll set you up. We also have a great referral program that gifts a cash bonus to both the referred and referee!

We serve Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch — our standard radius is about 10–12 miles from our home base location at 3630 Caravelle Street in Sarasota, FL 34240. Just outside that? We prefer to stay north of Clark Rd and not much further north than SR 64. Depending on the pet sitter that's available, we may service as far east as Mayakka or as far east as Siesta Key! Out-of-radius service may be available in our schedule for a small travel fee — just reach out and we'll see what we can do.
