Ohh My Dog!
Caroline LaCamera, owner of Ohh My Dog!, graduated college in 2013 with a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. During her studies, she couldn't bear not having a dog — so she started fostering dogs in her free time.
Her favorite niche within the pet industry has always been "special needs" dogs. She has dreamed of owning a tripod dog or training a deaf dog with intricate tricks. Following graduation, she worked in the medical field for about 10 years — but never truly stopped caring for pets.
It began around 2011 — privately dog sitting for family and friends, shadowing a local dog trainer, working at a kennel, and fostering dogs. However, something intangible was missing.
In 2022, Caroline moved back to her hometown of Sarasota to pursue her childhood dream: a career with dogs. In August 2023, she became the official owner of Ohh My Dog! LLC.
Why Ohh My Dog! Exists
Caroline had a realization that the social norm for "taking care of your pets while on vacation" was to either put them in a boarding facility or go online to match with a random pet sitter. However, pet owner horror stories revealed this wasn't the safest situation for both their pets or their home.
She had to make it known that there's premium pet care available — care that treats your pet like family, not a number. Care that is certified, insured, and deeply personal.
Despite graduating outside of business management, Caroline worked relentlessly toward her goal. The result is Ohh My Dog! — Sarasota's trusted private pet care provider.

Owner & Dog Boarding Specialist
Caroline founded Ohh My Dog! in August 2023 after a decade in the medical field and a lifetime of loving dogs. A Sarasota native, she graduated with a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and spent years fostering dogs and shadowing trainers before pursuing her true calling. She is Fear Free certified, CPR & First Aid trained, and BBB Accredited. Her specialty is caring for dogs with special needs — food allergies, medical conditions, and anxiety — with the same clinical precision and warmth she brought to her healthcare career. Caroline personally handles all dog boarding at her home.
Grace
Dog Walker & Drop-In Specialist (Weekends)
Grace is our weekend warrior — energetic, reliable, and absolutely adored by every dog she meets. She handles dog walking and drop-in visits on weekends, bringing the same level of care and communication that Ohh My Dog! is known for. Grace sends GPS-tracked walk updates and report cards after every visit so you always know your pup is in great hands.
Sara
In-Home Pet Sitter
Sara is our in-home pet sitting specialist — calm, attentive, and deeply caring. She stays in your home so your pet never has to leave their familiar environment. Sara is great with pets of all temperaments and has a special gift for making anxious animals feel safe and comfortable. She provides daily photo updates, report cards, and is always just a message away through the Time To Pet app.
